The FT 15/1 is intended for use in an electromagnetic environment in which radiated RF disturbances are controlled. The customer or the user of the FT 15/1 can help prevent electromagnetic interference by maintaining a mini-
mum distance between portable and mobile RF communications equipment (transmitters) and the FT 15/1 as recommended below, according to the maximum output power of the communications equipment.

EIN/AUS-Taste aus. Ansonsten schaltet sich das Thermometer nach ca.
10 Min. automatisch ab.
Speicher
Der letzte Messwert wird automatisch gespeichert. Dieser Wert wird beim
Drücken der EIN/AUS-Taste angezeigt. Neben dem Messwert erscheint
das Speicher-Symbol, z.B. 37,5 °CM (99,5 °FM).
Messeinheit ändern
Sie können sich die Temperatur in Grad Celsius (°C) und Grad Fahrenheit
(°F) anzeigen lassen. Zum Einstellen halten Sie die EIN/AUS-Taste beim
Einschalten länger als 2 Sekunden gedrückt bis sich die Messeinheit
ändert. Der gespeicherte Wert wird in der neuen Messeinheit angezeigt.
Batterienwechsel
Das Fieberthermometer enthält eine Langzeit Alkali-Mangan-Batterie
(LR 41, 1,55 V), für ca. 2 Jahre. Die Batterie muss gewechselt werden,
wenn „T“ am rechten, unteren Rand erscheint. Drücken Sie den Bat-
teriefachdeckel am Ende des Gerätes mit den Fingern zusammen und
ziehen Sie ihn kräftig nach hinten weg. Entnehmen Sie die alte Batterie
und ersetzen Sie diese durch eine Batterie gleichen Typs. Das + Zeichen
auf der Batterie muss nach oben zeigen. Stecken Sie anschließend den
Batteriefachdeckel auf das Gehäuse auf.
Verbrauchte Batterien gehören nicht in den Hausmüll. Entsorgen
Sie diese über Ihren Elektrofachhändler oder Ihre örtliche Wertstoff-Sam-
melstelle. Sie sind gesetzlich dazu verpfl ichtet, die Batterien zu entsorgen.
Hinweis: Diese Zeichen fi nden Sie auf schadstoffhaltigen
Batterien: Pb = Batterie enthält Blei, Cd = Batterie enthält
Cadmium, Hg = Batterie enthält Quecksilber. Für diese
Batterien gilt: Pb, Hg.
Reinigung/Desinfektion
Das Thermometer ist 100% wasserdicht und kann zur Reinigung bzw.
Desinfektion problemlos in Wasser oder Desinfektionslösung eingetaucht
werden.
Das Thermometer darf keinesfalls ausgekocht werden! Verwenden Sie
eines der nachfolgenden aufgeführten Desinfektionsmittel nach Herstel-
lerangaben. Andere Reinigungsmittel oder Methoden können zu Funkti-
onsstörungen oder Beschädigung des Geräts führen. Name des Mittels:
Isopropylalkohol 70%, Gigasept FF, Lysoformin, Aseptisol.
Aufbewahrung/Entsorgung
Wenn Sie das Thermometer nicht benützen, bewahren Sie es bitte in der
originalen Schutzhülle auf.
Die Genauigkeit dieses Thermometers wurde sorgfältig geprüft und wurde
im Hinblick auf eine lange nutzbare Lebensdauer entwickelt. Bei
Verwendung des Gerätes in der Heilkunde sind Messtechnische Kontrollen
mit geeigneten Mitteln durchzuführen. Genaue Angaben zur Überprüfung
der Genauigkeit können unter der Service-Adresse angefragt werden.
Bitte entsorgen Sie das Gerät gemäß der Elektro- und Elektronik
Altgeräte EG-Richtlinie 2002/96/EC-WEEE (Waste Electrical and

Garantie
Wir leisten 3 Jahre Garantie für Material- und Fabrikationsfehler des
Produktes. Die Garantie gilt nicht:
• Im Falle von Schäden, die auf unsachgemäßer Bedienung beruhen,
• für Verschleissteile,
• für Mängel, die dem Kunden bereits beim Kauf bekannt waren,
• bei Eigenverschulden des Kunden.
Die gesetzlichen Gewährleistungen des Kunden bleiben durch die Garan-
tie unberührt.
Für Geltendmachung eines Garantiefalles innerhalb der Garantiezeit ist
durch den Kunden der Nachweis des Kaufes zu führen. Die Garantie ist
innerhalb eines Zeitraumes von 3 Jahren ab Kaufdatum gegenüber der
Beurer GmbH, Söfl inger Straße 218, 89077 Ulm, Deutschland geltend zu
machen.
Der Kunde hat im Garantiefall das Recht zur Reparatur der Ware bei un-
seren eigenen oder bei von uns autorisierten Werkstätten. Weitergehende
Rechte werden dem Kunden (aufgrund der Garantie) nicht eingeräumt.

the acoustic signal. For measurements in the armpits the recommended
measurement time should be maintained in spite of the acoustic signal. To
prolong the life of the battery, please switch off the thermometer by briefl y
pressing the On/Off key after the measurement. Otherwise the thermom-
eter will automatically switch off after 10 minutes.
Memory
The last measured value will be stored automatically. This value is
displayed when the On/Off button is pressed. The memory symbol is also
shown beside the measured value, e.g. 37.5 °CM (99.5 °FM).
Changing the measuring unit
The temperature can be displayed in degrees Celsius (°C) and degrees
Fahrenheit (°F). To set the measuring unit press and hold the On/Off
button for longer than 2 seconds when switching on until the measuring
unit changes.
The saved value is displayed in the new measuring unit.
Changing the battery
The clinical thermometer contains a long-life alkali-manganese battery
(LR 41, 1.55 V), which will last for approx. 2 years. The battery has to be
replaced when “T” appears in the bottom right corner of the display. Press
down the battery cover at the end of the device with your fi ngers and then
pull it fi rmly back. Remove the old battery and replace it with a battery of
the same type. The + sign on the battery must point upwards. Then put
the battery cover back onto the case. Used batteries do not belong in the
regular domestic refuse. Dispose of them through your local dealer for
electric goods or your local depot for special waste. You are legally
obliged to dispose of the batteries.
Note: Batteries containing pollutant substances are marked as
follows: Pb = Battery contains lead, Cd = Battery contains
cadmium, Hg = Battery contains mercury. These batteries
contain mercury (Hg) and lead (Pb).
Cleaning/Disinfection
The thermometer is 100% water-proof. For the purpose of cleaning or dis-
infection, it can be dipped into water or disinfectant without any diffi culties.
Under no circumstances should the thermometer be boiled! Use one of
the following disinfectants in accordance with the manufacturer’s instruc-
tions. Other cleaning agents or methods could impair the function of the
thermometer or damage it.

Type BF applied part
Pb Hg
(30 korte pieptonen in 10 Sekunden) Indien temperaturen hoger dan
43,0 °C (109,4 °F) gemeten worden, dan verschij nt het symbool voor “Hi °C
(Hi °F)”. De meettij d is in vergelij king met conventionele thermometers
sterk verkort, en bedraagt bij rectale meting slechts ca. 10 seconden.
Door verlenging van de meetduur na de signaaltoon kunnen preciezere
meetresultaten verkregen worden. Bj metingen in de okselholte moet de
aanbevolen meetduur ondanks de signaaltoon aangehouden worden.
Om de levensduur van de batterij te verlengen kunt u de thermometer
na de meting uitschakelen door kort op de AAN-/UIT-toets te drukken.
In het andere geval schakelt de thermometer zichzelf na ca. 10 minuten
automatisch uit.
Geheugen
De laatste meetwaarde wordt automatisch opgeslagen. Deze waarde
wordt bij het indrukken van de AAN/UIT-toets getoond. Naast de meet-
waarde verschij nt het geheugensymbool, bij v. 37,5 °CM (99,5 °FM).
Meeteenheid wij zigen
U kunt de temperatuur in graden Celsius (°C) en graden Fahrenheit (°F)
laten weergeven. Bij het instellen houdt u de AAN/UIT-toets bij het
inschakelen langer dan 2 seconden ingedrukt totdat de meeteenheid
wordt gewij zigd.
De opgeslagen waarde wordt in de nieuwe meeteenheid weergegeven.
Batterij wissel
De koortsthermometer bevat een alkali-mangaanbatterij met een lange
levensduur (LR 41, 1,55 V) voor ca. 2 jaar. De batterij moet vervangen
worden wanneer bij de rechteronderrand “T” verschij nt. Druk eerst het
deksel van het batterij vak aan het eind van het apparaat met de vingers
samen en schuif deze krachtig naar achteren. Verwij der de oude batterij
en vervang deze door een batterij van hetzelfde type. Het +-teken op de
batterij moet naar boven wij zen. Plaats vervolgens het deksel van het
batterij vak op de behuizing.
Gebruikte batterij en horen niet in het huisvuil. U bent wettelij k verplicht,
de batterij en op te ruimen. Ruim deze op via uw elektriciteitshandelaar of
uw plaatselij ke inzamelpunt voor waardevolle stoffen.
Opmerking: Deze tekens vindt u op schadelij ke stoffen
bevattende batterij en: Pb = batterij bevat lood, Cd = batterij
bevat cadmium, Hg = batterij bevat kwik. Voor deze batterij en
geldt: Pb, Hg.
Reiniging/desinfectie
De thermometer is 100% waterdicht en kan voor reiniging resp. desin-
fectie probleemloos in water of een desinfecterende oplossing worden
gedompeld. De thermometer mag in geen geval worden uitgekookt!
Gebruik één van de hierna genoemde desinfecterende middelen volgens
de instructies van de fabrikant. Andere reinigingsmiddelen of methoden
kunnen leiden tot functiestoringen of beschadiging van het apparaat.

Bewaren/Verwij dering
Wanneer u de thermometer niet gebruikt, bewaar hem dan in de originele
beschermhuls. De nauwkeurigheid van deze thermometer is zorgvuldig
gecontroleerd en het apparaat is ontwikkeld met het oog op een lange
gebruiksduur.
Wanneer het apparaat wordt gebruikt in de geneeskunde moeten
meettechnische controles met daarvoor geschikte middelen worden uitge-

10 secondi. Prolungando la durata di misurazione oltre al segnale acu-
stico, si ottengono risultati più precisi. Quando si eseguono misurazioni
nell’ascella, rispettare la durata di misurazione malgrado il segnale
acustico. Per prolungare la durata in servizio delle batterie, spegnere il
termometro dopo la misurazione premendo brevemente il tasto ON/OFF.
In caso contrario, il termometro si spegne automaticamente dopo circa
10 minuti.
Memoria
L’ultimo valore misurato viene memorizzato automaticamente. Tale valore
viene visualizzato premendo il pulsante ON/OFF. Oltre al valore misurato,
compare anche il simbolo della memoria, ad es. 37,5 °CM (99,5 °FM).
Cambio dell’unità di misura
La temperatura può essere indicata in gradi centigradi (°C) e in gradi
Fahrenheit (°F). Per l’impostazione, tener premuto il pulsante durante
l’accensione più a lungo di 2 secondi fi nché l’unità di misura non cambia.
Il valore memorizzato viene indicato nella nuova unità di misura.
Sostituzione delle batterie
Il termometro clinico contiene una batteria alcalina al manganese di lunga
durata (LR 41, 1,55 V), con un’autonomia di circa 2 anni. La batteria deve
essere sostituita quando appare la lettera “T” nel margine inferiore destro.
Comprimere con le dita il coperchio del vano batteria all’estremità dell’ap-
parecchio e tirarlo con forza all’indietro. Estrarre la batteria esausta e
sostituirla con una batteria dello stesso tipo. Il segno + sulla batteria deve
essere rivolto verso l’alto. Riapplicare quindi il coperchio sul vano batteria.
Non gettare le batterie usate nei rifi uti domestici. Siete tenuti per legge
a smaltire le vecchie batterie tramite il vostro rivenditore o negli appositi
centri di raccolta locali.
Avvertenza: sulle batterie contenenti sostanze pericolose sono
riportati i seguenti simboli: Pb = la batteria contiene piombo,
Cd = la batteria contiene cadmio, Hg = la batteria contiene
mercurio. Queste batterie contengono Pb, Hg.
Pulizia/Disinfezione
Il termometro è completamente impermeabile e può essere immerso
senza problemi nell’acqua o in soluzioni disinfettante. Non bollire il termo-
metro in nessun caso! Utilizzare uno dei disinfettanti elencati di seguito,
seguendo le istruzioni del produttore. Altri detergenti o metodi possono
causare anomalie di funzionamento o danni allo strumento.

Conservazione/Smaltimento

Sezione uso del tipo BF
Pb Hg
Dès que la température dépasse à 37,8 °C (100 °F), un signal d‘alarme
se fait entendre (30 tonalités brèves en 10 secondes). Si la température
dépasse 43,0 °C (109,4 °F), le symbole « Hi °C (Hi °F) » apparaît. Le temps
de mesure est largement inférieur à celui des thermomètres habituels ; ce
temps de mesure n’est que de 10 secondes pour des mesures rectales.
Un prolongement de la durée de mesure après le signal sonore permet
d’obtenir des résultats plus précis. Pour des mesures au niveau du
creux de l‘aisselle, il est recommandé de prolonger ce temps de mesure
malgré le signal sonore. Pour augmenter la durée de vie de la pile, veuillez
éteindre le thermomètre en appuyant brièvement sur la touche MARCHE/
ARRET. Au bout de 10 minutes environ, le thermomètre s’éteint automa-
tiquement.
Mémoire
La dernière valeur mesurée est automatiquement mémorisée. Appuyer sur
le bouton MARCHE/ARRET pour affi cher cette valeur. Le symbole de la
mémoire, par exemple 37,5 °CM (99,5 °FM), s’affi che à côté de la valeur
mesurée.
Modifi er l’unité de mesure
Vous pouvez affi cher la température en degrés Celsius (°C) ou en degrés
Fahrenheit (°F). Pour régler l’unité, maintenez la touche MARCHE/ARRÊT
enfoncée au démarrage pendant plus de 2 secondes jusqu’à ce que
l’unité de mesure soit modifi ée.
La valeur mémorisée sera affi chée dans la nouvelle unité.
Remplacement des piles
Le thermomètre médical contient une pile longue durée alcali manganèse
(LR 41, 1,55 V) utilisable 2 ans environ. La pile doit être changée quand
« T » s’affi che sur le bord inférieur droit. Des doigts, comprimez le cou-
vercle du compartiment à piles à l’extrémité du thermomètre et tirez-le
fortement vers l’arrière. Retirez la pile usée et remplacez-la par une pile
du même type. Le pôle + de la pile doit être dirigé vers le haut. Ensuite
adaptez le couvercle du compartiment à piles sur le thermomètre.
Les piles usagées n’ont pas leur place dans les ordures ménagères.
Ramener les chez votre revendeur d’appareils électro-ménagers ou au lieu
de collecte local. La loi vous oblige d’eliminer les piles.
Remarque: Vous trouverez les symboles suivants sur les piles
contenant des substances toxiques: Pb = pile contenant du
plomb, Cd = pile contenant du cadmium, Hg= pile contenant du
mercure. Pour ces piles : Pb, Hg.
Entretien/Désinfection
Le thermomètre est parfaitement étanche à l’eau et peut être immergé
dans l’eau ou dans une solution désinfectante sans problème aucun.
Le thermomètre ne doit en aucun cas être placé dans l’eau bouillante !
Utiliser l’un des désinfectants énumérés ci-dessous, conformément aux
indications du fabricant.
D’autres produits ou méthodes de nettoyage peuvent occasionner des
dysfonctionnements ou endommager l’appareil.

Conservation/Elimination
En cas de non utilisation du thermomètre, le conserver dans son étui
d’origine.
La précision de ce thermomètre a été correctement testée et sa durabilité

fortemente reduzido em comparação com os termómetros convencionais,
compreendendo apenas cerca de 10 segundos no caso de medições
rectais. Se prolongar o tempo de medição para além do tempo assinalado
pelo sinal acústico, poderá obter resultados mais exactos. Se proceder
a medições na axila, convém cumprir o período de medição recomenda-
do apesar do sinal acústico. Para aumentar a vida útil das pilhas, deve
desligar o termómetro a seguir a cada medição premindo brevemente a
tecla ON/OFF. Se não o fi zer, o termómetro desliga automaticamente ao
fi m de aprox. 10 minutos.
Memória
O último valor medido é memorizado automaticamente. Se premir a tecla
ON/OFF, este valor volta a ser exibido. O símbolo da memória é apresen-
tado ao lado do valor, por ex. 37,5 °CM (99,5 °FM).
Alterar a unidade de medida
A temperatura pode ser exibida em graus centígrados (°C) ou em graus
Fahrenheit (°F). Para ajustar a unidade, mantenha a tecla ON/OFF premi-
da por mais de 2 segundos ao ligar o aparelho, até surgir a nova unidade.
O valor memorizado passa a ser exibido na nova unidade de medida.
Mudança da pilha
O termómetro de febre contém uma pilha alcalina-manganês de longa
duração (LR 41, 1,55 V), por aprox. 2 anos. A pilha terá que ser trocada
quando “T” aparece na margem direita inferior do mostrador. Pressione a
tampa na ponta do aparelho e empurre-a com força para o lado de trás.
Tire a pilha velha do compartimento e substitua-a por uma pilha do mes-
mo tipo. O sinal + na pilha inserida deve mostrar para cima. Volte a fechar
depois o compartimento com a tampa.
As pilhas gastas não devem ser introduzidas no lixo doméstico. Existe
uma obrigação legal de dar um tratamento ecológico às pilhas. Leve-as a
uma loja especializada em aparelhos eléctricos ou a um centro de recolha
de materiais valiosos da sua área.
Nota: Este símbolo encontra-se nas pilhas que contêm materiais
tóxicos: Pb = a pilha contém chumbo, Cd = a pilha contém
cádmio, Hg = a pilha contém mercúrio. A estas pilhas são aplicá-
veis os seguintes símbolos: Pb, Hg.
Limpeza/desinfecção
O termómetro é 100% estanque à água e pode ser colocado em água
ou numa solução desinfectante, sem problemas, para proceder à sua
limpeza ou desinfecção. Em caso algum, o termómetro deve ser fervido!
Utilize um dos desinfectantes a seguir indicados e siga as instruções do
fabricante. Outros produtos ou métodos de limpeza podem provocar
falhas de funcionamento ou danifi car o termómetro.

Guardar o termómetro/Eliminação
Quando o termómetro não é usado deve ser guardado no seu estojo
original. A precisão deste termómetro foi controlada com rigor e foi con-
cebida visando uma longa duração de vida útil.
A utilização do aparelho no âmbito medicinal exige controlos metrológi-
cos por meios apropriados. Indicações mais exatas sobre a verifi cação da
precisão podem ser solicitadas no endereço da assistência técnica
indicado.
Elimine o equipamento de acordo com o Regulamento do Conse-
lho relativo a resíduos de equipamentos eléctricos e electrónicos
2002/96/CE – WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

ción más allá de la señal, pueden obtenerse resultados de medición más
detallados. En mediciones en la axila, debe mantenerse la duración de
la medición recomendada a pesar de que suene la señal. Para prolongar
la vida útil de las pilas, apague el termómetro después de la medición
accionando brevemente el botón On/Off. De lo contrario, el termómetro
se apagará automáticamente tras aprox. 10 minutos.
Memoria
Se almacena automáticamente el último valor medido. Este valor se
muestra al pulsar el botón On/Off. Junto con el valor de medición aparece
el símbolo de memorización, p. ej., 37,5 °CM (99,5 °FM).
Modifi cación de la unidad de medición
La temperatura puede visualizarse en grados Celsius (°C) o en grados

Cambio de pila
El termómetro incluye una pila de larga duración de manganeso alcalino
(LR 41, 1,55 V), válida para aprox. 2 años. La pila debe cambiarse cuando
aparece una “T” en el borde inferior derecho. Empuje con los dedos la
tapa del compartimento de la pila que se encuentra en el extremo del
aparato y haga fuerza hacia atrás. Extraiga la pila antigua y sustitúyala
por una pila del mismo tipo. El polo positivo de la pila debe quedar hacia
arriba. A continuación, coloque la tapa del compartimento de la pila en
la carcasa. No tire las pilas usadas a la basura doméstica. Deposítelas
o entréguelas en los lugares de recolección, previstos para este efecto.
Según el ley hay que desechar las pilas.

Limpieza/desinfección

se puede introducir completamente en agua o en sustancias recomenda-
das para la desinfección. ¡No hierva nunca el termómetro! Para la desin-
fección, utilice una de las sustancias que a continuación se recomiendan;
otros detergentes o métodos pueden deteriorar el aparato o conducir a
una alteración de sus funciones.

Almacenaje/Eliminación de desechos
Cuando no utilice el termómetro, guárdelo en el estuche de protección
original.
La precisión de este termómetro ha sido comprobada minuciosamente y
su diseño ha sido desarrollado con vistas a una larga vida útil del aparato.
Si se utiliza el aparato en el ejercicio de la medicina deberán realizarse
controles metrológicos utilizando para ello los medios oportunos. Puede
