Place of installation
To ensure proper functioning of the gas
oven, the air needed for gas combustion
must flow into the room naturally.
(The installer must follow current
regulations UNI-CIG 7129 and 7131).
The air must flow directly into the room
through openings on the outside walls
(see fig. 2). These openings must have an
unobstructed air passage section of at
least 100 cm2 (one or more openings may
be made).

Discharge of combustion products
Gas ovens must discharge the products of
combustion through a hood connected to a
flue or leading directly into the open air
(fig. 2).
If it is not possible to install a hood, an
electric fan must be fixed to the outside
wall or the window of the room, provided
the air vents required by UNI-CIG 7129
and 7131 are present in the room.
This electric fan must be of a capacity to
ensure an hourly air change in the
kitchen 3-5 times its volume.
