Operating the Answering Machine
Pause During the Message Playback

Press the 2 key to pause.

Press the 2 key again to resume playing messages.
Skip Forward and Backward While Playing
Back Messages
NNNNNNN NNNNNNN  Select backward and forward arrows while in an-
swering machine mode.
Deleting Messages
You can either delete individual messages or all old
messages.
Deleting Individual Messages
While playing back the message to be deleted:
NNNNNNN
Press the Backspace key.
Deleting all Old Messages
During playback or a pause:
NNNNNNNNNNNN
MENU Open the Menu.
NNNNNNN NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN NNNNNNN 
DEL OLD MSG

Scroll to Delete Old Messages and press OK.
NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN NNNNNNN
SURE?

Press OK at the prompt.
Picking up a Call from the Answering
Machine
While the answering machine is recording a mes-
sage (
9
-Symbol flashes) you can still pick up the
call if you want to talk to the caller.

Press Talk – The recording ends and you can talk to
the caller.
If playback is paused for more than a minute,
the answering machine reverts to idle status.
