Setting up voice mail

If you subscribe to your service provider’s answering
service (voice mail), they will usually have included it on
your SIM.
If not, they will provide:
• a phone number you can redirect calls to (the divert

number). Choose Menu, Stay in Touch, Voice
mailbox to enter it.

• a phone number you call to retrieve messages. Enter

it in the Phonebook as “Voice mail”.

Then set up divert (below).

Divert (call forwarding)

Divert must be switched on to use voice mail, but you
can also divert calls to other numbers.
Choose Menu, My Xelibri, Setup, Divert and:
• Unanswered – the usual setting: forward calls when

your Xelibri is off, out of coverage, busy or when you
don’t answer.

• All calls – forward every call (if you’re abroad, for

instance).

In each case, choose to forward calls to your voice mail-
box, to an alternative number, or choose Off to stop
diverting calls/using voice mail.

Personalising voice dialling

If you get unexpected results when voice dialling num-
bers, then you may benefit from training your Xelibri to
recognise the way you speak.

To personalise voice dial

Choose a quiet environment for the training.
Choose Menu, My Xelibri, My Voice.
When you’re ready to begin, click

.

Speak the word or sequence of numbers shown on the
display. If your Xelibri fails to recognise what you have
said, it will prompt you to repeat it. If successful, it will
go on to the next screen.

To turn personalisation off

To restore general settings for speech recognition,
choose Menu, My Xelibri, My Voice and click

to

switch off. Repeat to re-train your Xelibri.
