AND...

you also experience symptoms of high blood sugar:
fatigue, increased appetite or thirst, frequent urination,
blurred vision, headache, or achiness,

THEN...

contact your doctor immediately.

Your blood sugar result may be extremely high and
above the system’s reading range.

IF...

mg/dL and error are displayed,

AND...

symptoms are absent,

THEN...

run a glucose control check with your glucose control
solutions and a new test strip. See

Glucose Control

(page 27).

If the control result is within the

acceptable range, review the proper blood testing
procedure and repeat your test with a new test strip. If
mg/dL and error still appear for your blood sugar test,
contact your doctor. Your blood glucose result may
be extremely high and above the system’s reading
range.

If the control result is not within the acceptable range,
turn to page 38.
