IF...

you get a low blood sugar result or LO is displayed,

AND...

symptoms are absent,

THEN...

run a glucose control check with your glucose
control solutions and a new test strip. See

Glucose

Control Testing

(page 27).

If the control result is

within the acceptable range, review the proper blood
testing procedure and repeat your test with a new
test strip. If LO still appears for your blood sugar
test, follow your doctor’s instructions.

If the control result is not within the acceptable
range, turn to page 38.

IF...

your blood sugar result is

above 240 mg/dL,

AND...

this has occurred for several days,

THEN...

contact your doctor and check your urine ketone
levels with Roche Diagnostics’ Chemstrip
