Step 8. HDTV Digital Receiver Connection to VCR/S-VIDEO VCR
Follow this diagram when connecting the HDTV Digital Receiver to a standard VCR or
S-VIDEO VCR.
Procedure
•
Select 480i by using the Video Out button on the front of the HDTV Digital Receiver.
•
Connect video cable from the video output jack on the HDTV Digital Receiver to the video
input jack on the VCR.
OR
•
Connect the S-Video cable from the NTSC S-Video output jack on the HDTV Digital
Receiver to the S-Video input jack on the S-Video VCR.
•
Connect audio cables from the left and right audio output jacks on the HDTV Digital
Receiver to the left and right audio input jacks on the VCR.
•
Connect video cable from video output jack on the VCR to video input jack on TV.
OR
•
Connect S-Video cable from S-Video output jack on the S-Video Vcr to S-Video input jack
on TV.
•
Connect audio cables from the left and right audio output jacks on the VCR to the left and
right audio input jacks on the TV.
Note:
Connect either your S-Video or video input/output.
•
S-Video will provide better picture quality.
•
If both S-Video and video are connected, S-Video will override video.
Note:
