CHECKING TIRE PRESSURE

Front tire pressure should be 12 15 psi (82 103
Rear tire pressure should be 10 12 psi (56 82

CHECKING FUEL FILTER

The fuel filter is

located

in fuel line between fuel tank and

carburetor. If filter is

dirty

or clogged, replace as follows.

Place a container below filter to catch spilled gasoline.

A

WARNING

Do not remove fuel filter when engine is hot, as

spilled gasoline may ignite. DO NOT spread hose
clamps further than necessary. Ensure clamps
grip hoses firmly over filter after installation.

1. Using a pliers, open and slide hose clamps from fuel

filter.

2. Remove hoses from filter.

3. Install new filter in proper flow direction in fuel line.

Secure with hose clamps. See warning at beginning

of procedure.

LUBRICATION

Lubricate the tractor as shown in figures 11 12. When

a grease gun is shown, wipe the fitting clean,

two

or three shots of lithium base automotive grease

and wipe off excess grease.

When an oil can is shown, wipe the area clean, apply a
few drops of oil (SAE

then wipe up drips or spills.
